Sarah and Charles’ MacKenzie King Estate Engagement Session

Sarah is from the Netherlands, Charles is from Canada and they fell in love at school in California. Two souls new to a country who found a home in each others hearts. Now in Canada they’ve made their home near Gatineau Park with their gorgeous dog Balou. They often walk Balou at the MacKenzie King Estate so it was only fitting that we went their to take their engagement photos. It was peaceful in the park at the end of the day and towards the end of our session we heard a rustle in the woods. We thought it might be squirrel but in fact it was a doe and her two calves. If you look close you can see them too. Even Balou stood quietly as they grazed close by. A fitting touch of natures magic to end a very sweet day.
