Since I’m hosting our book club tonight and there’s a Southern theme, sunflowers just felt right for the occasion. Now, I should probably get cooking instead of taking more photos!

On a side note, sunflowers always remind me of my soul sister Liane who trekked across Canada so many years ago to be re-united with her true love. On her journey, she sent me a beautiful photo with her standing in a field of sunflowers somewhere in the Prairies.
